The End of Biohazard Studios?
(Not a chance!)

Hello friends! It's just me, Mishnari. Well, it seems that time just flies on by, doesn't it?

Let's start this from the beginning.

In the month of December '99, I used a WebTV to build a simple website on Homestead. It was suppose to be a sort of a low buget game company ... kind of like Bloodlust Software.

I called it: "Biohazard Studios!"

Because I had no game development software (or a computer), the games were just going to have to wait. However, I did have a camcorder and a lot of spare time. I thought, "well, since I can't make games, why not make movies instead?" So I did just that.

With a lot of help from my friends, we set out to create some of the most pointless movies we could possibly think of. Then, the backyard wrestling videos came. Then our original series "Shazam!" came along. And finally, in April of 2000, I got my computer!

I had so many great hopes and dreams for Biohazard Studios. Trying to follow the examples set by Lloyd Kaufman, Michael Herz and the rest of the Troma Team, I set out to make this company into something special. Nothing to make a living off of or anything like that. Just something that me and my friends would enjoy doing. However, I have a little problem known as "Extreme-Laziness!"

Biohazard Studios was going nowhere and I blamed myself. It was strictly my fault.

It was sometime in late May 2001, I was getting more ideas ... but, did nothing to bring them to life. At this time, Biohazard Studios was still on Homestead, and hadn't been updated since early February 2001. Finally, in early June I was sick of it! This company was my brain child, and I was abusing it.

It was Saturday, June 9, 2001. I sat down, cracked my knuckles, booted up my PC and got ready to get things going ... finally! After learning a little bit more HTML, I moved away from Homestead, and came here to Tripod. When I was finished with my "major update," I looked at my finished product and smiled. I liked it!

It was about 4 months in the making, but I finally made the update I had been wanting to do. However, that "Extreme-Laziness" kicked in yet again.

June came and went. Then there was July, gone before I knew it! I shut the site down in early August to do some more remodeling. I was still learning new HTML tricks, and I picked up Macromedia's "Flash 5."

Things were good. I was working hard with Flash, and I was also working on a new web project in my spare time (which I'll talk about later). I had just finished a whole new design for the site and was getting ready to reopen in full throttle! Until just a few days ago.....

I sat down and started wondering if there were any other "Biohazard Studios" out in the world. There was! I found This Website. I was pissed ... very pissed! Seriously, I was about to break into tears when I saw this. I don't want get into it here, so if you want to read the whole story click here.

Anyway, until further notice, this site is no more. And besides, a lot of the original people here have gone away to college, the armed forces, ect. It has all changed too fast!

Until I come up with a new company name and I once again feel like putting time into this ... we will be gone ... well, at least for a while.

My newest project is called "I'm Just Tired."

I took a lot of inspiration for my new site from ThinkAttack.com. Think Attack is the newest site from Editor Dink! I've been a big fan of Dink since his last site, School of Ass. School of Ass was my all time favorite E/N site ... I even liked it over Newgrounds.

Anyway, some day we shall return full force! New name, new content, new everything! Below I will list some links to other sites you may enjoy.

Saying goodbye is never easy. And, shutting down this site is just as difficult. It was fun, and I promise you all that some day that same fun will return!

Until futher notice, the only thing that will remain open is the Message Board.

Final Goodbye,
~Mishnari~
